doves on a wire

The doves really love to perch on a wire that we have right outside my birding window. It is really easy to take pictures of them because it's just far enough that they cannot see me, but it is just close enough that I can take good pictures.

i still have not told you about all the things i like to study. first, as you know birds!!! second, i am a botanist the study of plants i have three gardens that i take care of (well one of them is my moms so i don't do much on it) three, i like to study about volcano's ( you might think that weird) and four, i like to study about space it is amazing!!!

i love to write songs. i use a program called anvil studio it is a very fun program it has all you need to write a song it will even let you print your songs!!! i am on it alot making up songs!!! i don't know if i ever told you that i play the piano i sure love to play it!!! on anvil studio my cousin and i are making up songs then sending them on email and then changing them and sending them back we are having alot of fun!!! his name is Joseph and i highly recommend you visit his blog at http://josepheveryday.blogspot.com/ he is good at having a blog so please visit his blog.

birds!!! birds!!!! and more birds!!!!!!!!!!! and problems

to day i saw 100 house sparrows 3 juncos and 10 house finch's i did take some pictures but i forgot to take of the flash. i take pictures out my window so if the flash is on the it catches the window so they turn out very bad and plus on our camera you haft to turn of the flash every time you take a picture so i just forget to do it.

i have a very cute baby brother i enjoy having a brother at home he is so cute!!!. he smiles alot to!!!.

all about the juncos

to day I saw six juncos at the feeder!!! i just wanted to put a picture in your head of what a junco looks like. a junco has a black head a white stomach with red Rufus under the wings and dark Brown wings. their nick name is snow birds because they have dark above(clouds)and white below(snow).

my cousin and i are playing a game what we are going to do is starting to day(Saturday) who ever can write the most blogs in a week so i will probably be writing a Lot of blogs.

camara

i am looking for an 500mm-1000mm lenses camera if anyone has seen one for under $200 then i would like to now? i would like one so that i could take better pictures. with our little 7.4 mega pixels and 17.4mm camera i have horrible pictures but i am looking.

the concert

on Nov,5, we (dad,mom,cousin,and i) went to a Jon Schmidt concert it was awesome i had so much fun. he play at least 20 songs and all where great!!! i am sure that he hast to buy a piano every concert because he pounds so hard but he is the best piano player in the world.

wow!!!!

i did not no that it was going to snow that much! well thanks to the snow i saw a junco at the feeder!!!! finally!!!!! just can't wait for juncos of course now the doves are gone.

to day it is very very windy and rainy "good time for bird watching" but not a good time for going outside i am hoping that it snows sorry for the people that dislike snow, but i just can not wait for juncos "after all they are my favorite birds of all time".

Halloween

for Halloween i was a famous track runner but we had a BUNCH OF problems like i did not have eney shorts (witch you definitely need shorts to be a track runner) so it got mest up.

california gull migration

to day i got out of bed to go watch birds when i got there, seagulls (California gulls) where every ware in the sky I'm guessing the where migrating but they mite not be.

still waiting

i am still waiting for juncos i have not seen any at the feeders but i have seen them around our house.but i am happy to atleast have house finch's, house sparrows, and doves.

Eurasian collared doves

this morning Eurasian collared doves where every wear i had about six at one time they are the coolest birds they are peach white colored and have a black collar and are natively Eurasian.

tons of birds

today I saw five finch's and about 8 house sparrows at the feeders its about time that the birds where coming to the feeders. I've been watching the feeders all the time constantly checking for birds and taking pictures.

juncos finally

a junco is a bird that in the summer they stay in Canada until winter and then they migrate down to the south which is all over the lower 48 states. the junco is a beautiful bird and i always look forward to seeing them. my cousin and i play a game and who ever spots the first junco wins,but this year i saw the first one. i never can wait to have juncos at the feeder and i will post some juncos later.

and by the way there are five different breeds of juncos these pictures are of slate colored junco the kind of junco that you find in Utah are Oregon juncos.

to day we found out that our scanner does not work so i can not post any of my drawing or painting sorry about that.

i have been painting for 6 mos now it is my favorite thing to do besides birding i have allot of paintings that i will show you later.
i got a paint set on my birth day 6 mos ago.
i have been drawing with colored pencils for three years but i don't now how i got in to painting.
i do much better with pencils then i do with paint you can imagine that pencils are much easier.
but no matter what the are both fun to use.

how i am doing

well i am not doing so great on birding because some body stole my feeders,
so one day i went to church and when i got back they were gone,
but i bought more but the birds have not found them yet.

my bow

we (family) have a good friend who asked us to weed ther backyard wich was very steep and had tons of weeds and so my dad my mom and i did. it all took us about two weeks. but when we where finished
he had said that i could have a bonus besides the money he had given us but he did not tell me what it was. so one day we decided to go and show them the new baby and thats when he gave me the bow. i am excited and will have fun with it.

how i got in to birding

so this is how i got in to birding,it all started three years ago when my family (mom dad and sisters.)went to yellowstone. thats when i saw my first bald eagle! so that year i decided to put up feeders and ever since then i have been birding, i love it and hope that you can to,and so that is how i got in to birding.
